Get to know me:

My love for design and creating began at a very young age. I was always looking for a “project” and most of the time could be found coloring, drawing or creating something. My eye for color, fabric, patterns and style became evident as young as elementary school where I discovered a love for shopping, clothes, putting outfits together and wasn’t afraid to take risks in fashion being one that never wanted to blend in.

Over time as life happened, my practical side took over and I decided to take a “safer” career path and I pursued a business management degree at N.C. State. After getting my first apartment upon graduating college, I immediately discovered a love for interior design and decorating. My wheels were constantly turning about how I could make a room or space more beautiful, inviting and functional. Eventually friends and family started seeking my insight and advice for their homes and design projects.

Fast forward to 2014…

After much encouragement, I created Donna Coleman Design. For the first few years I operated as a side business, but happily I have transitioned Donna Coleman Design into my full-time career and passion. I have absolutely loved being able to help people create a vision for their home, and over the years, seeing the vision come to life beyond a client’s expectations continues to bring me such joy. Home should be a sanctuary and I consider it the greatest honor and privilege when someone entrusts me to transform a space or their home. I still get butterflies of excitement at the start of every single project no matter the size or scope. I am fully committed to ensuring that I exceed each client’s expectations, and designing your dream space is my mission. It is a true labor of love and I am fully committed to making your house a home that you will cherish spending time in while making memories for years to come.

Some things I love: Jesus, my family which consists of an incredible husband and four sons, creating beautiful and functional spaces, Burn Boot Camp, iced coffee and our cats Waylon and Willow.

I look forward to hearing from you, and am happy to answer any questions you may have in deciding if Donna Coleman Design is the right fit for your next project.

Colorfully yours,
Donna
